Photographers will love the breathtaking views of the Flinders Ranges from Mount Ellen and Hancock’s Lookouts, and the distinctive long jetty in Port Germein.

The kids will love swimming, fishing, crabbing, and canoeing in Port Pirie and Port Germein, finding tadpoles and looking out for wildlife in Mount Remarkable National Park and Bundaleer Forest.

The walking tracks at Alligator Gorge lead through stunning scenery to the breathtaking ancient rock formations in Mount Remarkable National Park. For a more adventurous trek, experienced walkers can tackle a segment of the renowned Heysen Trail.

Cycling and 4WD Tracks

Cyclists will revel in the beauty and history along the Southern Flinders Rail Trail or, for a bigger challenge, take on the iconic Mawson Trail. There are many mountain-bike courses across the region so all levels of cyclists can find a track to suit their speed.
