Regional Food Catalogue
The Regional Food, Wine, and Beverage Catalogue is designed to promote regional foods from the Flinders Ranges, and is intended to be used by a wide range of retail shops including, cafes, restaurants, caterers, hotels, commercial kitchens and B&Bs. It is a very practical guide to sourcing regional produce and offers retailers direct contact with local producers that operate within the Flinders Ranges region.
The Catalogue is a joint initiative between Food SA, Northern Regional Development Board, Southern Flinders Ranges Development Board, and regional producers.
The Catalogue lists 30 regional producers offering a wide range of local products. It provides producer contact information, and area maps noting approximate locations of each producer.
The Flinders Ranges area is renowned for its diversity of high quality regional foods, wines and beverages, finding its way into local markets to cater for local consumption and the large volume of tourists that visit the region. Products are also gaining recognition interstate and challenging new export markets around the world.
